TBYC’S 70^th ANNIVERSARY YEAR RENDEZVOUS

TO ALL TBYC BOATERS:

This year we are resurrecting an activity from years gone by. It is a chance to join in a family-friendly event and have some fun.

Some of you may not have been to Sturgeon Bay before or are new to TBYC and boating. This event will give you an opportunity to visit Sturgeon Bay and meet other boaters.

We will be anchoring or ‘rafting’ in Sturgeon Bay (no docking is available). Although you may find some wind effect in Sturgeon Bay, waves should not be a problem.

To allow us to organize, we will need you to let us know if you are coming by a phone call (345-0029) or by email (obsidian40@shaw.ca) by July 13. As well, please indicate your boat’s name, how many will be on your boat and how many children. Add any concerns or questions, if you have any, to the email or phone call.

If you wish to travel with and arrive with other boaters who have had experience going to and entering Sturgeon Bay, just indicate that in your phone call or email and we will be able to organize that for you.

You can arrive at Sturgeon Bay at any time…some activities are slated to begin around 3:00pm. The trip is approximately 14 nm via the west side of Pie Island, shorter if you take the route closer to the shore (requires some local knowledge).
