OFFSHORE PERSONAL SURVIVAL SEMINAR - FOR SAILORS (RACING AND CRUISING) AND POWERBOATERS - May 4/5 2024

This seminar is 16 hours in length delivered over two days, with practical drills such as actually deploying and boarding a liferaft (in a swimming pool), and distress signaling. The content includes skills and theory.  It covers shipboard emergencies, abandon ship and survival, crew overboard emergencies, and safety planning.  
 

The training is recognized by World Sailing, and was last offered in Thunder Bay in 2018.  Thunder Bay Yacht Club will host this training program on the weekend of May 4 and 5.For more information and to register go to:

 

 
Space is limited to twenty participants. In order to attract sufficient enrollment, this seminar is also open to boaters from other yacht clubs. Register now to avoid missing out.
