The TBYC Offshore Series consists of five separate mid-distance offshore races. One throw-out is allowed in the overall series scoring.

Racers race from Silver Islet, which is located on the 'lake' side of the Sibley Peninsula, to Thunder Bay. Course length is approximately 19 nautical miles.

Racers race from Thunder Bay to Sawyer Bay, which is located at the 'head' of the Sleeping Giant on the Sibley Peninsula. Two courses are possible, ranging from 17.7 nm to 18.9 nm.

Skipper's meeting at 1100 on Pier 1. Race start is 1200.

One of the oldest annual races on Lake Superior, the course has been changed many times over the years.  This year's race begins in Thunder Bay, and finishes in Grand Marais, MN.

One of the longer and older local distance races, the Spar Channel Race takes the fleet south past Thompson Island, through Spar Channel, and outside Pie Island.

This year, race start is 1200, Skipper's Meeting at 1100.
