For many years now boaters have been coming together for an on the water celebrations. On Saturday July 23 the TBYC will be holding its annual "On the Water Rendezvous" at Porphyry Island. This will be a time for family and friends to come together and enjoy a day at the island. Author, Jean E. Pendziwol of "The Lighkeepers' Daughters" book published a few years ago that focuses a lot on the past history of Porphyry, has offered to provide a book tour.  Jean E. will talk about the research of her book and about her time visiting Porphyry over the years.  Admission to the event is free. Light refreshments served. Entrance Fee is covered for TBYC members. BBQ, Tenting areas, Boathouse, Fire Pit, Docking and Sauna are available on a first come first serve basis.
